Winners and losers in acidification affecting coral reefs (audio)

Recent research suggests there are winners and losers in the acidification process affecting coral reefs off PNG’s Milne Bay.

Scientists believe high concentrations of carbon dioxide percolating out of the seabed from volcanic activity below is affecting coral reefs and sea life living in them.

The Australian Institute of Marine Science in Townsville Australia is working on the project in Milne Bay.
