A Portuguese version of the virtual ocean acidification laboratory developed by Inquiry to Insight (I2I) is now available. The laboratory includes background information on pH and ocean chemistry, an interactive model of ocean acidification, a comparison of calcifying organisms and an interactive evolutionary tree of calcifying organisms, as well as a virtual laboratory where students address the question: How does ocean acidification effect sea urchin larval development?
