The second-order draft of the Working Group II (WGII) contribution to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) will soon be available for review. The WGII Technical Support Unit seeks your participation.
The WGII AR5 Government and Expert Review will run 28 March – 24 May 2013. The IPCC procedures state that the review process shall be open, objective, and transparent, with a wide circulation that aims to involve as many independent experts as possible and that captures a wide range of views, disciplinary perspectives, and geographic representation. To this end, the WGII Technical Support Unit announces launch of a pre-registration mechanism to support the process.
